Collinsville State High School - North Queensland The Collinsville Cluster of schools - Collinsville State High School, Collinsville State School and Scottville State School are seeking to appoint an innovative and committed teacher to lead and implement our combined school's FlexiSpace program.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and to support our school's journey to embed inclusive teaching practice.
This is a 0.2FTE circuit position.
Our FlexiSpace Lead will ideally be: An experienced teacher with expertise in, or knowledge of inclusive practice; or a teacher who is committed to rapidly developing their skills and knowledge of inclusive practice.Committed to ensuring students achieve quality educational outcomes by providing uninterrupted access to the curriculum and high-impact teaching.Committed to differentiating teaching practice and educational program delivery to meet student needs.Committed to using and sharing inclusive teaching practices with all staff.Committed to working with parents / carers, internal support staff and external agencies to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing.Applicants for these positions must possess: A relevant teaching qualification.Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
Pre-service / graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher.Employment for pre-service / graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.Working rights in Australia, which means you have, or you are eligible to obtain a valid Australian Visa with work rights (if you're not already an Australian Citizen or resident).How to apply: Click the Green 'Apply online' button below.Attach your current resume including contact details of two professional referees.A maximum 2-page written response outlining your suitability for the role under 'How You Will Be Assessed' in the Teacher role description.Pre-service teachers and graduates are encouraged to include completed practicum reports, mentor / referee statements, and unofficial academic transcripts for current courses of study.
