The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) lead the sustainable development of Western Australia's regions and agriculture, aquaculture, food and fisheries sectors.

About the opportunity There is currently one (1) full-time fixed-term (up to 12 months) position with the possibility of extension and/or permanency available for immediate filling.
DPIRD is seeking a dynamic and solutions focussed Organisational Development Manager to align strategic workforce, culture and development programs with the Department's priorities.
Bringing your professional and innovative approach, you will lead the design and implementation of organisational development projects, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, leadership and individual development programs, and embedding our values to build organisational culture, capability and adaptability.

Key accountabilities Lead the design and implementation of multiple learning and organisation development initiatives, policies, strategies and projects in consultation with senior leaders, to build capability across DPIRD on a disciplined and consistent basis that reflects best practice.Lead the design and implementation of specified learning and development strategies and initiatives in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve equity and diversity policy objectives and ensure that these objectives are considered in all planning, performance and development activities.Design appropriate Talent processes, tools and programs sufficient to build DPIRD Leadership and Management strength and to establish a pipeline of "ready" and capable future leaders and managers.Provide timely, expert advice and guidance to directors and managers on learning and development trends, best practice and issues to support informed decision making in respect to the development of learning and development strategies and programs that support both organisational and individual capability building.Plan and design the learning curriculum and associated programs including leadership and management development programs and activities that are based on business and service delivery strategies.We are looking for individuals with: Extensive experience in human resources management, with proven leadership in contemporary organisational development.Demonstrated success in driving cultural change, enhancing capability and performance, and managing talent in a multi-disciplinary environment.Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.Equity and Diversity At DPIRD we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and are an equal opportunity employer.
