Motion Recruitment is currently engaged with a globally recognised Australian brand name across a vacancy for a digital solution architect.
We are seeking an experienced digital Solution Architect with strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, effective solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver impactful projects across modernisation and customer-focused initiatives.
The role will involve two key streams of work; overseeing back end integrations between legacy systems and new SaaS platforms as well as designing solutions to enhance self service automation across a customer facing application.
Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.Own technical debt and ensure scalability, security, and supportability of systems.Balance lean delivery practices with robust technical design.Provide leadership to project teams and guide them through technical challenges.Translate business needs into actionable designs, considering cost, risk, and delivery timelines.Develop and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) with vendors and internal teams.Support delivery planning by prioritising backlogs and managing interdependencies.Troubleshoot technical issues and drive the team toward effective, pragmatic solutions.Requirements: Extensive experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on system integrations and cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure or AWS).Strong technical background with the ability to engage in detail when necessary.Clear understanding of the customer experience life cycle.Experience working on projects that directly impact customer experience and self-service automation.Proven ability to communicate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.Strong knowledge of agile software delivery practices.Demonstrated experience in managing technical debt and ensuring future scalability.Background in software engineering or hands-on technical roles is desirable.The ideal candidate will be a proactive, resourceful leader who can work independently while driving collaboration across stakeholders.
You will have a strategic mindset, with the ability to simplify complex technical challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
The role is a 6 month contract to start off, with opportunity for further extension.
It is based in Sydney hybrid; 2-3 days in the office.
It is a daily rate contract at $1100 - $1150 incl.
Super Annuation per day.
