Health, Safety & Environment (Construction)Teneo are Australia's leading environmental containment specialists, with over 40 years' experience developing and implementing quality solutions for the waste, oil and gas, mining, and water industries.
We specialise in providing clients a complete containment solution with the in-house capability and equipment to deliver earthworks, civil construction, project management and geomembrane supply and installation.About the role:The HSE Advisor will be responsible for providing support in the development and implementation of HSE policies, processes, and procedures in a high-performing culture.
They will actively partner with the operational managers to create HSE plans to assist Teneo achieve HSE compliance and promote safety.As a HSE Advisor you will:Provide expert knowledge and advice while working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Actively engage in and promote safe work behaviours, acting as a role model for all workers.Be the first point of escalation for all HSE issues.Ensure project personnel have the necessary competencies and complete the necessary documentation for the plant and equipment utilised on-site.Be responsible for having the training and induction records up to date.Support operational management and project managers with incident investigations.Deliver workplace safety training such as inductions, awareness, and site work health and safety training.Prepare monthly project statistics and relevant reports.Participate in project toolbox and pre-start meetings.Identify risks and action plans are developed, implemented, and reviewed.Ensure compliance with relevant WHS and Environmental Legislation, as well as the Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.About you:To be successful in this role, you will possess:Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.Previous mining experience.Experience in assessing and implementing safety measures in a dynamic environment.Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation.Capable of analysing complex situations and offering effective problem-solving solutions.Willing and able to travel and work away from home on various projects throughout Australia if/when required.Unrestricted driver's licence.Apply:If you meet the above criteria, APPLY NOW by submitting your application via Seek or by emailing your resume to .#J-18808-Ljbffr
