ABOUT THE ROLE PHE Power and Infrastructure is seeking highly motivated, experienced Industrial Electricians to join our Gympie team on a permanent, full-time basis.
We encourage candidates from Gympie as well as the nearby Cooloola and Sunshine Coast to apply.
Based just two hours from Brisbane and on the fringe of the stunning Sunshine Coast, PHE's Gympie operations undertakes small and large scale project work within the region and beyond, servicing the local timber, manufacturing, power generation, renewable energy and gas industries.
The role involves industrial electrical and instrumentation installations at various factory and infrastructure sites throughout Queensland on rosters that balance regular overtime and time at home.
If you are a qualified electrical tradesperson and have been wanting to get into, or further your career in industrial electrics and instrumentation, then this is the perfect growth platform for you.
ABOUT YOU To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
Industrial, instrumentation and hazardous area experience are highly regarded but not essential.The ability to work with a strong emphasis on maintaining our long-term client relationships.The ability to work and fit into a great team, whilst also being able to work independently.Must have an excellent attitude to safety.Flexible and open to working away from home, as required by the company.LICENCES: Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro TechQLD Electrical LicenceHigh Risk Work Licence with WP ClassWorking at Heights certificate within the past 2 yearsLVR/CPR certificate within the past 12 monthsWhite Construction CardC Class Drivers LicenceHold or be able to obtain a National Police ClearancePlease note all your tickets and licences MUST be current to commence on site and be employed by PHE.
