Your new role The Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the office.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting the wider team, and maintaining an organised, welcoming, and safe environment.
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to: Receiving and processing customer ordersPreparing orders for despatchLiaising with and arranging collections with couriers and freight companiesInvoicing customersManaging day-to-day office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendarsPerforming data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-dateHandling incoming phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette, directing enquiries as necessaryAssisting with bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including invoicing and tracking expensesMaintaining filing systems both electronically and physically to ensure easy access to important documentsSupporting the team with administrative duties such as typing correspondence, preparing reports, and organising meetingsProviding clerical support as needed, including ordering office supplies and managing inventoryWhat you'll need to succeed Experience managing an office, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Confident team player and leader.
Able to drive output across the business to achieve targets and objectives.
