Leisure & Lifestyle Care Service EmployeeWe are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Leisure and Lifestyle CSE to join our team in Inverell.
As a Leisure and Lifestyle CSE, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of leisure and recreational activities for our residents, including games, crafts, exercise programs, and outings.
About You McLean Care are looking for experienced individuals that are caring and empathetic & looking to contribute to their communities.
You will possess a Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or a similar certification.
You will provide personalised care to all residents, including those with dementia and challenging behaviours, with a focus on meeting their individual needs and preferences.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with elderly individuals, utilizing appropriate communication strategies to meet their unique needs and preferences.Understanding of WHS principles - including identification & mitigation of venue specific risksDemonstrated proficiency in computer skills and ability to use relevant software programs effectively.2 Recent Managerial RefereesPolice Clearance – we run one for you for freeAdvantage: Previous experience working with the elderlyExperience leading a small teamDemonstrated ability to design and execute engaging activity programsAvailability to work flexible hoursDemonstrate creativity and proficiency in crafts and artsCurrent First Aid/ CPR certification or in process of obtainingAbout Us McLean Care is a well-respected provider of the highest quality Community, Retirement and Aged Care Lifestyle services.McLean Care is a non-for-profit, ethical organisation that recognises the importance of providing person-centred care across all our divisions.What's in it for you?
