You will provide high levels of technical support servicing our customer's equipment to ensure customer issues, incidents and breakdowns are resolved quickly and efficiently.This role will be based on 2 sites, one in Canning Vale, the other in Bibra Lake.
This opportunity also comes with optional overtime on other client sites within the business.The hours of work cover an afternoon shift attracting 15% loading:Sunday-Thursday & Monday-Friday shift patterns (14:00 – 22:00hrs)Alternating fortnights between the two sites (2 x different types of automation)Overtime rates for Sunday shifts (double-time)Public Holiday Rates for P/H Mondays (with the Sunday off - paid)RESPONSIBILITIESTrouble-shoot, problem solve, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faultsCarry out equipment audits and preventative maintenance tasksElectrical fault finding, including replacement of contactors, relays, field devices, etc.Programming drives, scanners, electronic control modulesTroubleshooting PLCsLubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors & gearboxesUndertake training of new technicians and operators (when required)Seek to reduce downtime and improve system reliabilityIdentify operational and equipment improvement opportunities through ongoing investigation and root cause analysis of faultsTasks and Qualifications:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORDemonstrated experience in troubleshooting & problem-solving equipment faults within a maintenance environmentElectrical: Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Australian)Trade Qualification: Certificate III – Electrotechnology and aboveYour own transportation and current Australian driver's licenseA commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfactionBe mechanically savvy (experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems)Industrial controls understanding (PLC's, VFD's, HMI's, etc.
