About the Role This role forms part of the Divisional Assurance Oversight team.
As Business Technology Risk Manager, you'll play a key role in being accountable for ensuring that the technology risks associated with day-to-day operations are owned, managed, subject to controls and tested appropriately.
Other responsibilities include assessment, governance, reporting and regulatory interactions in respect of technology risks and technology controls.
In this role, you will support Australia Commercial in identifying, designing, and assessing automated controls and maintaining advanced risk management reporting to protect shareholders, customers and bankers.
You deeply understand technology risk and information security processes, concepts, and industry standards to and can translate it to the ANZ context.

As a Business Technology Risk Manager you will: Support Australia Commercial in providing assurance of risks, controls, treatments, events, operational / delivered risk assessments and audit items where they relate to Technology.
Contribute to the delivery of insights, trends and recommendations in relation to how risks are being identified, assessed and treated.
Take on risk / compliance related initiatives and drive them to completion.
Use your strong communication and presentation skills to connect with stakeholders across both Australia Commercial and Technology, liaising closely with Technology Assurance.
Manage capacity and relative priorities, ensuring that work is prioritised, backlogged, and addressed in line to demand.
Providing assurance of quality and adequacy of risks, key controls, treatments, events, audit items, NFRAs etc where they related to technology aspects.
Manage divisional compliance requirements such as annual attestations and risk profile refresh work.
Supporting the improvement in risk capability/culture/awareness where it relates to Technology.

Technology Risk Management : An understanding of technology operational risks, such as ALM, resilience, security, vendor management Risk Management: A logical and pragmatic method of establishing the context, identifying, analysing, evaluating, treating, monitoring and/or communicating risks associated with any activity, function or process in a way that will enable the organisation to minimise losses and maximize opportunities.
Controls design: The ability to specify and designing controls (e.g.
a process, device or practice) to prevent, detect or remediate identified risks.
Automated Process Control design highly regarded.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
