What you'll doYou'll provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, individuals and families to address the issues impacting their relationships.
This can include general conflict, communication, domestic violence, mental health, addiction issues and child-protection.
You'll use a Family Systems Framework in your counselling and provide information and referrals to improve the wellbeing of your clients.
What you'll bringRelevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or equivalentPost-grad qualifications or training in Counselling or Couple and Family TherapyExperience working with individuals, couples and families using a robust Family Systems clinical frameworkStrong understanding of family dynamics, child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and addictionA calm, professional and compassionate approach when engaging with clientsRegistered or eligible to be registered with PACFA or ACAThe detailsPermanent part time position3 days per week based at Macquarie ParkApprox $46 - $51 per hour (depending on skills & experience), 11.5 % super, 17.5% leave loading and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900.Extra annual leave days between Christmas and New YearExcellent professional development & regular clinical supervisionWhy work with us?Make a genuine difference to the relationship wellbeing of individuals, couples and families; everydayWork alongside people who truly care about what you achieve.
