Join the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) as the Manager of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW), where you'll facilitate a strong HSW program to support a resilient and empowered workforce.
You will play a crucial role in building a proactive HSW culture by working collaboratively with QPT's leaders and managers to mitigate and manage both physical and psychological risks.
You'll lead HSW projects and initiatives, ensure compliance with HSW legislation, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across all facets of safety, health, and wellbeing.
As the Manager – Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW), you'll be at the forefront of fostering a safe and thriving workplace.
You will lead and manage the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT)'s strategic HSW program, driving continuous improvement and fostering cultural change.
You'll play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance to senior managers and leaders, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture (P&C) with one direct report, you will maintain the Safety Management System (SMS), lead impactful HSW projects, and build comprehensive wellbeing programs.
This integral role entails cultivating internal and external key stakeholder relationships, developing user-friendly workforce data management systems, reporting on health and safety trends, and championing a sustainable safety culture across all units.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our Brisbane office.
