About this position
The City of Gosnells has exciting opportunities for energetic, presentable, and friendly team players to assist us in delivering events, programs, and workshops to the community.
Our community events and programs range from large outdoor community festivals to smaller venue-based workshops.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Programs and Events team with bump-in and bump-out, and the delivery of the event or program Assisting the community with queries during events and programs Liaising with contractors, stallholders, and suppliers Handling ticketing Performing administration duties Providing quality care to patrons, programs, and events staff and contractors at all times If you are highly motivated, passionate about events, and would like to work in a busy and supportive team environment, submit your application today
What we are looking for:
A hard-working, positive and professional attitude Excellent communication skills A commitment to providing exceptional customer service Availability to work weekends and after-hours, as well as flexibility to work during the week Desirable requirements:
First Aid qualification Working with Children Check Driver's Licence Previous experience in customer service, ticketing, venue operations, community programs, or event delivery is highly advantageous but not essential.
Essential requirements:
Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old).
Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
