Maintenance & Property Team LeaderPermanent full-time position available | Based in MenangleUtilise your trade skills to make a positive difference every single dayGreat opportunity to join a leading aged care providerBased in Menangle, we are seeking a dedicated Maintenance & Property Team Leader to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be based at the Residential Aged Care Home - Durham Green Manor.About the role:In collaboration with the Area Manager and Site Manager, you lead the maintenance team ensuring quality property support and maintenance services to all customers, whilst ensuring BaptistCare assets are maintained to the highest standard.This diverse hands-on leadership role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and involves the general upkeep of the buildings, plant & equipment, furniture fittings, gardens, lawns, pool, and carparks, as well as liaising with and supervising contractors, tradespersons, and suppliers as required.About you:A trade qualification with a minimum of 12 months of trade experienceDemonstrated experience in managing preventative and reactive maintenance systemsExperience in an Aged Care, Retirement Village, or Health Care environment preferredExperience managing/supervising contractors and/or staffValid driver's licenceWell-developed communication skillsExcellent time management skills including the ability to prioritise and multi-taskExcellent problem-solving skills as well as technical knowledge to fault findGood understanding of Work, Health and Safety practicesSound computer literacy skillsPassion for helping others, supporting the elderly, and making a positive impactGenuine alignment to BaptistCare's mission, purpose, and values.Why Join Us?At BaptistCare, we value our employees and believe in creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
