In conjunction with Monaro Fuel Haulage (Monaro), a related family business, the ECC & Monaro Group provides services across Australia, specialising in bulk liquids, general freight & dangerous goods. About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
This is a permanent, full-time position where the successful candidate will work a 5 on, 5 off roster, providing an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in a rotating schedule.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in logistics, specifically in the fuel industry, who enjoys problem-solving and coordinating the smooth flow of goods and services.
Reporting to the Depot Manager, some of the responsibilities will include:
Day to day logistics coordination of numerous customer contracts, including managing delivery and collection activities to contract KPIsImplement measures and procedures to drive service performance and continuous improvement of the freight networkCommunication and escalation of all freight-related issues from point of originSkills and Experience Petroleum industry experience (highly regarded)Demonstrated understanding of heavy vehicle legislation, COR & transport regulationsKnowledge and understanding of AFM & BFM rules and regulationsA thorough understanding of vehicle operation, types of vehicles, vehicle limitations & technologyHigh computer literacy, with demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to different systems and software (particularly MS Office Suite & Office Companion)Strong influencing and negotiating skills and to work well in a team.Please Note: All applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing as required.
