About the role: Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Grounds Supervisor to take on this permanent full-time position commencing 6 January 2025.
The Maintenance & Grounds Supervisor is part of a small team of professionals, whose role is to ensure that the College facilities and grounds are maintained in a neat, tidy, safe and hygienic manner.
The Maintenance & Grounds Supervisor must be highly professional in all aspects of the role and display proficiency in areas of team leadership, project management (budgeting and time management), stakeholder management/communications, consultation, problem-solving, and decision-making.
This position includes (but is not limited to) the following:
Oversight of maintenance and grounds;Teamwork and communication;Leadership of a strong and dynamic team.Skills and Experience: Facilities management experience 3+ years and proven experience in building and asset maintenance schedules;Experience in project management of small to medium capital works is desirable;Effective planning and organizational skills, including excellent practices for correspondence, documentation, and budget monitoring;Advanced levels of computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite;Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as highly developed interpersonal skills;Understanding of the need for confidentiality and sensitivity of information;The ability to support the Christian ethos of the College.Applications should be addressed to Mrs. Janelle Anderson, Principal, and submitted as one combined PDF file via email to before 4:00pm on Monday 18 November 2024.
