Field Service Supervisor - Critical Power SystemsEaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
The Power Quality (PQ) division at Eaton Electrical provides power management solutions including uninterruptable power supplies (UPS's), surge protective devices, power distribution units (PDU's), remote monitoring, software, power factor correction, airflow management, rack enclosures and services.
We strive for continued success in leveraging technical innovation to develop next-generation solutions.
We are looking for a hands-on Field Service Supervisor based in Melbourne, to install, test, commission, service, and repair UPS products and systems for critical power applications to specifications and customer requirements.
The successful candidate will also supervise and lead a team of Field Service Technicians and be a brand ambassador for Eaton whilst delivering great customer service and experience.
Other key duties will include: Lead and supervise a team of Field Service Engineers/TechniciansPerform your duties with a high regard and awareness for safe working practices and compliance to EHS protocols.Install and maintain critical power equipment and perform in-house and on-site repairs as required in accordance with service and maintenance agreementsLiaise with Project Management to carry out site inspection, commissioning, and testing of critical power systems including creating and modifying all documentation and reports for submissionProvide technical assistance/support and training to Technical Staff, Service Contractors, and customers where requiredRespond to requests for emergency repairs and provide rostered standby support 24/7Perform FAT/SAT testing on units and prepare detailed reports on tests carried outEnsure on-time submission of reportsQualifications: 8 years' experience in a technical role servicing electrical or power electronics equipmentExperience leading a team of field service technicians or engineersDiploma or degree qualification in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or Industrial AutomationIntermediate skills in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)Exceptional communication skillsAbility to organize, prioritize, plan, follow up, and work autonomouslyWhat we offer: Free on-site parkingFlexible working arrangementsCompetitive salary with access to bonus schemeInclusive working environmentOutstanding training and development programs for both professional and personal developmentWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
