DXC Technology - where brilliant people embrace change and seize opportunities to advance their careers and amplify customer success.We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join our Salesforce Practice - NV1 clearance requiredThis role is integral to driving the design, implementation, and optimisation of Salesforce solutions for our customers.
You will lead requirements gathering, business process improvement initiatives, and ensure the solution architecture aligns with business objectives.
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders, defining detailed requirements, creating process maps, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions.
Your expertise will be critical in managing the solution design, user experience, and business process improvements while ensuring the team follows industry best practices and meets project deadlines.Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Management: Prepare and lead Requirement Gathering Workshops with key stakeholders for medium to high-complexity Salesforce projects.
Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs and project objectives.
Ensure that all Epics & User Stories are written utilizing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles to capture all requirements for solution build.
Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they are prioritized, communicated, and executed effectively.
Business Process Improvement: Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
Recommend best practices for process reengineering and optimisation, leveraging Salesforce capabilities to drive efficiency and business transformation.
Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions that enhance business operations and align with client goals.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as the primary point of contact for project-related matters, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and expectations are met.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define project goals, timelines, and scope, while providing regular project updates.
User Experience (UX) Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers and business teams to design intuitive, user-friendly Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of end-users.
Lead UX workshops to define user needs and ensure the Salesforce solution enhances the overall user experience.
Ensure all user journeys, interfaces, and touchpoints are aligned with client expectations and deliver value to end-users.
Solution Architecture: Define the overall solution architecture, ensuring it meets both business and technical requirements, including scalability, performance, and security.
Ensure the architecture aligns with Salesforce best practices, compliance standards, and industry standards.
Oversee technical teams to ensure the solution is designed, developed, and deployed as per the defined architecture.
Process Mapping & Analysis: Create, own, and interpret Process Maps for medium to high-complexity projects, capturing key business workflows and ensuring they are fully understood and optimized.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and optimise business processes through the lens of the Salesforce platform.
Work Breakdown & Configuration Management: Define configuration requirements and create work breakdown structures for the project team to follow.
Provide guidance to the team on tasks, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and project goals.
Ensure all configurations meet design standards and align with project requirements.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Validate compliance to design standards and ensure deliverables meet the required quality criteria.
Review deliverables produced by the team to ensure they adhere to the defined design and functionality.
Ensure unit testing is completed for all deliverables, providing feedback and direction to the team for improvements as necessary.
Key Qualifications: Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect with expertise in delivering medium to high-complexity Salesforce projects.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
Experience in business process improvement, requirements gathering, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Agile methodologies for requirements definition and project execution.
Strong expertise in creating process maps and process optimisation strategies.
Experience in configuring and customizing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between business and technical objectives.
Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
