JLE Manufacturing and Hire is an industry leading electrical engineering and contracting company based in Regional NSW.JLE Group's dedicated electrical manufacturing division specialises in electrical services and supplies for underground mining, tunneling, civil construction and rail industries across Australia.
Manufacturing items such as substations, switchboards, distribution boards, lighting boxes & project installation works.JLE Manufacturing and Hire is excited to share we are building a bigger team to meet demands for our expanding business.
We're looking for team players who are keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business to keep our projects moving.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Graduate Electrical Engineer will be a part of the engineering team at JLE to a junior level.
Day-to-day works will include preparing engineering drafting packages, reviewing, and staying up to date with relevant standards, approving design for IFC construction & working on R&D projects as assigned.Overview of the Role:Complete the engineering & design for Research & Development projectsComplete the engineering & design for assigned projectsComplete design philosophy & Safety in Design Risk Assessments for assigned projectsAssist in the management of outsourced engineering studiesProvide design packages to the drafting teamReview and sign off on designs prior to IFC constructionComplete assets dossier creation and maintenanceComplete / manage F.A.T testing within the workshopComplete inspections of returning assets and provide mark ups back to the drafting teamComplete onsite testing of HV equipment on JLE projectsComplete reviews of testing ITCs, provide feedback & reports to the clientDevelop efficient systems and processes that result in high-quality productsRole location can either be in Orange or Tomago, NSWWe are looking for someone with:Ability to use initiative and be self-motivatedAbility to work under pressure with minimum supervision and manage multiple, concurrent tasks with competing prioritiesAbility to work alone or as part of a combined project team comprising but not limited to technical, planning, quality, projects, and customer personnelMust be a competent user of Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Degree in Electrical EngineeringCapacity to work independently and as a member of a work teamUnderstanding and interpreting relevant standards and codes of practiceA high level of numeracy skills, attention to detail, and superior analytical abilityWhy work with us?We understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance and are able to offer family-focused hours to suit your needs.We have an exciting Employee Benefits platform offering exclusive discounts on retail and healthcare as well as discounted gym memberships and novated leasing options.Access to Commonwealth Bank workplace banking benefits.We engage and reward our employees with a monthly values awards program and recognition in our newsletter.5 / 2 roster (Mon - Fri)Friendly team and flexible work conditions.Apply today as interviews may begin before the close date.#J-18808-Ljbffr
