Chop Shop Post is one of Australia's leading post production studios with over 13 years in the industry.
We specialise in end-to-end post-production workflows from editorial through to visual-effects, colour grade, online and sound design.

We pride ourselves on our flexibility and innovation to put creative first.

Our body of work ranges from international feature films (Zombie Plane, Great White, Combat Wombat) to premium TV Series (Bluey, Last King of the Cross, Troppo) feature and documentary series (Wildlife ER, General Hercules, Brock) and premium television commercials (Coke, Subway, Nike, SuperCheap Auto).

Chop Shop has delivered work for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus, Disney, ABC, BBC and Discovery World Wide.

We are currently in production on several international feature films and upcoming TV projects.

Employment Period : Long-term contract, with an immediate start.

Job-Type : Full-time, in office.

Location : Brisbane, Australia.

Salary : Negotiable with successful applicants, relative to experience and portfolio.

Overview :
As part of our production department, you'll work closely with our Team and production partners in managing and completing post-production for Feature Film and Television Series.

Some short form TVC production may also be part of the role where applicable.

The ideal applicant should have an in-depth understanding of the post-production process, as well as a strong knowledge of production, distribution and delivery both domestic and international.

Responsibilities :
Assist with planning and managing production budget.
Quoting and invoicing projects.
Assisting and managing the team of artists across projects.
Schedule and manage artists and resources to maximise quality and productivity of work.
Oversee the delivery of projects on schedule, on budget and to a high standard.
Work with clients and key stakeholders.
Required Skills + Experience :
Minimum 3+ years (or demonstrated equivalent) assisting, managing or co-ordinating post-production for live-action or digital film & television projects.
Proven ability to plan and manage productions.
Demonstrated advanced relationship management and networking skills and the ability to establish effective relationships both internally and externally.
Technical and creative problem solving with a can-do mindset.
A team-oriented mentality with a 'get it done' attitude.
An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
A driven and self-reliant work ethic.
The ability to be adaptable, flexible and proactive when it comes to troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of the VFX pipeline and entire post-production process, including interdepartmental dependencies is highly favoured.
Ideal candidate has strong organisational, management and client-facing skills, understanding the importance of deadlines, communication, budget, presentation and client satisfaction.
A Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or Arts is looked favourably upon but not required.
