The Role: We are seeking a Clinical Director of Nephrology – Senior Consultant/Specialist Nephrologist to join a hospital in a beautiful coastal location in sunny Queensland
The Clinical Director of Nephrology will provide expert clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high performing renal medical services, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
They will ensure the provision of high value, safe, and quality clinical care to patients.

As a strategic member of the leadership team within the health service, you'll be empowered to drive improvements and bring your visionary approach to the frontline, providing crucial advice, guidance, and support directly to the executive and senior leadership team.
Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments.
Professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements.
Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointment.Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.Other benefits include: Fantastic salary sacrificing benefits.Professional Development AllowanceProfessional Development LeaveFlexible work arrangementsLower cost of livingThe Hospital: An acute 142-bed Hospital, that works in close partnership with the other nearby 80-bed Hospital to deliver high quality health care to the community.
A comprehensive range of health care services are available including acute inpatient and outpatient services and community health, oral health, and community mental health services, some of which are provided at off campus sites.
The Hospital has built a reputation for excellence especially in professional education and attracts medical and nursing programs in conjunction with several renowned Queensland universities.
Location: Just over three hours' drive or a quick 45-minute flight from Brisbane.

Skills/Qualifications: AHPRA – Current specialist registration with AHPRA or Eligible for registration as a Specialist to practice as an Anaesthetist.
