We are currently seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Auto Electrician to join our busy Laverton workshop.
This is a full time 5 x 2 Monday - Friday opportunity, working 7.30am - 4pm.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Service Manager you will diagnose, service and repair a wide range of Caterpillar earth-moving equipment including air-conditioning systems.Your typical day will look a little like this:Trouble shooting and repairs of all types of Cat equipmentGuide and mentor Trade Assistants and ApprenticesEnsure that service reports are accurate, timely ordering of parts and standard operating procedures (SOP's) are followedMaintaining a high level of presentation standardsAssisting Diesel Technicians with machine services and repairsABOUT YOUYou will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role:Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical Fitting or equivalentStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent safety awarenessStrong experience with auto electrical fault finding and diagnosticsCaterpillar equipment experience and a solid knowledge of the Caterpillar product (highly regarded)WHAT IS ON OFFER?...A base rate up to $48 per hour (dependent on roster & skill level) + Allowances + Leave Loading + SuperTool Loans (interest free)Fully equipped service vehicleOvertime (plenty on offer)RDO for 5x2 rosterOEM ToolingOngoing training & developmentRelocation assistance up to $5000 for eligible candidatesFlexible family friendly roster optionsCareer progression opportunitiesTrade upgrade opportunitiesEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral Program - refer a mate & receive up to $3000Access to our Wellbeing portal, packed with resources and tools to support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeingSave with The Hub, our reward and benefits platform with discounts at over 470 retailers such as; JB HI-FI, Woolworths, BCF + moreIf you have the drive and ambition to progress, this could be the start to a long-term career at William Adams.Want to know more?Call David in our Talent Acquisition Team on with any questions.How to applyPlease click the button below to apply for this position.
