About The Job

Randstad is partnering with this State Government department to find a passionate and skilled Senior Structural Engineer to provide technical expertise and guidance.
In this role, you will support the Engineering teams for structural design and/or investigation, collaborating with business partners to adopt suitable new technologies.
Your designing attention to detail abilities will be crucial in resolving issues for optimal outcomes.
As an experienced engineer, you will influence and contribute expertise across the corporation, working with other teams on site to investigate and resolve problems and processes.
You will maintain high engineering proficiency, delivering exceptional advice and technical auditing services.
Your New Role Provide expert support in Structural design/technical engineering matters across the corporation.Offer technical guidance in Safety in Design (SiD) matters.Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to enhance the teams' capabilities.Identify and evaluate new technologies, driving innovation and best practice improvements in Structural engineering standards and practices.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication with engineering teams, project managers, vendors, and contractors.Determine the suitability of new and emerging technology to benefit the corporation.Support the Engineering teams for structural investigation.Travel to sites to assess engineering situations frequently.Role
This role has the ability to influence the engineering team.
Working with the Principal Engineer to achieve the company objectives, as the Senior Engineer of the Team you will need the following to be successful:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.Postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential.Sound knowledge of Structural engineering procedures and practices.Experience in the provision of investigation, concept, and detailed design of Structural infrastructure.Demonstrated experience in executing complex and critical engineering investigations.Knowledge to develop project-specific structural specifications.Knowledge of Australian design codes and standards would be desirable.Extensive experience with structural analysis software and design tools.Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia (EA) or in the process of obtaining chartership with EA.A valid driver's licence is required.Benefits You Will Get In Return Flexibility to work from home.Work with cutting-edge technology on a variety of assets and diverse projects.Mentorship and opportunities to build up technical knowledge in engineering to shape the future of the organisation.Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).Wellbeing days, Cultural Leave, Volunteering Day.Super SA benefits.Option to extend your holidays by Purchasing Leave.How To Apply
