About the role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Maintenance Officer to assist us in the upkeep of this wonderful and unique property.
Your primary responsibility will be general maintenance duties to preserve and improve our hotel.
You should have an advanced knowledge of general maintenance techniques of fixtures commonly used in hospitality venues.
This includes kitchen and laundry equipment.
Your shift responsibilities will include hotel energy and maintenance efficiency.
Candidates with hotel experience and/ or a trade background will be highly regarded.
About you Knowledge of safe working practicesAble to perform general maintenance and repair workAbility to prioritiseAble to work in a team or without supervisionExcellent customer service and a high degree of flexibilityBe available to work a 7 day a week rotating roster, across days or eveningsPrevious hotel experience in a similar position will be highly regardedStaff benefits include complimentary staff meals, uniform, discounted F&B and accommodation and undercover car parking when available.
