We deliver products and services for clients in education including the Australian government, State and Territory education authorities, amongst others.The Software Development unit is responsible for the development of all in-house development projects and maintenance of all ESA managed applications.Why work with usWork for a NFP that provides true impact for students, teachers, parents and carersFlexible working environment – Hybrid workingA convenient location in the heart of the CBDThe roleWe are looking for a Technical Test Analyst to work on various digital education projects and provide support in each phase of the project development life cycle.The role is a 12 month fixed term contract (with possibility for extension).This role will:Develop test automation frameworks, automated test scripts and execution plans as per test automation strategy and standardsEnsure that test strategies are in place for non-functional areas such as performance and load testingDevelop project level technical testing strategiesDevelop test schedules and test estimates for technical testing efforts and promptly report any deviations to project managementAutomate API, UI and DB level verification testsWork with Test Manager, Architects, Project Managers, application SMEs to determine technical requirements, complexities, risks and dependencies for test automation and application performance.About youHave strong hands-on experience as a Tester in automation and framework buildingYou have the ability to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and othersYou have strong experience in Automate API tests using Jmeter, Postman or SoapUIYou have familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and experience in integrating testing frameworks into CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).You are able to write test cases using TestRail or similar test management toolYou are analytical with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise work to meet adapting deadlinesExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenInternational Software Testing Qualifications Board – ISTQB foundation accreditation.Experience with usability and accessibility testing, using tools such as JAWS, NVDA, etc.Mobile application testing experienceWhat ESA offerAt ESA we want everyone to succeed, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, sexuality, physical ability or age.
