Family Dietetics is looking to expand our team at our Peninsula location: Food Play Grow.
Company Description Family Dietetics takes a neurodiverse affirming and acceptance approach to dietetics, focusing on whole person and family nutrition goals.
Our team of Dietitians, Allied Health Assistants, and Early Childhood educators specialize in pediatric dietetics, Responsive Feeding Therapy, and disability or behavioral management education and Play Therapy.
In our approach to expanding food vocabularies, we prioritize personalized nutrition plans and informed choices tailored to individual needs, steering clear of generic diet plans.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Grade 2/3 Dietitian at Family Dietetics in Hastings, VIC.
The Dietitian will be responsible for providing nutritional counseling, medical nutrition therapy, hands-on feeding therapy, assisting with growth curve establishment, and general nutrition guidance to clients on a day-to-day basis.
The dietitian may be required to see clients in home, school, and SIL environments as well as at clinic and via Telehealth.
Qualifications Dietetics, Nutritional Counseling, and Medical Nutrition Therapy skills Experience (of at least 1 year) working with pediatric, physical, and neurological disabilities.
Experience (of at least 1 year) with hands-on Feeding Therapy delivery Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team Knowledge of Eating Disorders and working towards Credentialing is a plus Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Agency Seniority Level Entry level
