Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the disability sector and the ability to work through complex, sensitive, and difficult matters.
You will be able to review decisions in a timely and professional manner.
The key duties of the position include: Own and maintain ePMO Methods, Templates, and System Accelerators, including coordination of continuous improvement and enhancements to ensure systems and tools remain user-friendly, aligned to best practice, and facilitate controlled project delivery for the NDIS Commission.
Strong stakeholder engagement including the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate and influence outcomes, build strong professional relationships, and accurately represent the information received from branches and divisions across the Commission.
Deliver project management training program to relevant project delivery personnel.
Ensure project data is maintained in the correct format to enable project reporting.
Maintain security permissions and access requirements for enterprise systems.
Assist with the preparation of executive briefings, contributing expert and innovative advice to guide the development of high-quality reporting that meets business and technical requirements.
Comply with, and contribute to the maintenance of, the ePMO project management, change, and reporting frameworks and associated artefacts.

Ability to engage in complex problem solving and issues management and may be required to coordinate and undertake detailed or sensitive projects that impact strategic, political, or operational outcomes for the agency.
Model an enthusiasm for learning and advocate for and foster a continuous learning mindset in others.
Prior experience in the public service or related fields.
Adherence to the APS Values and Code of Conduct, behaving ethically and professionally.
Mandatory requirements: Proficiency in project management methodologies (i.e.
PRINCE2, PMBOK) to effectively maintain ePMO methods, tools, and templates.
Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g.
Power BI) for creating interactive reports and dashboards that provide real-time insights into project performance.
Strong background in continuous process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project management practices.
Experience in designing and delivering training programs to build project management capabilities.
Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
A minimum of 3 years in a Reporting, Project Management, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst role.
