Senior Project Manager Westpac Banking Corporation Sydney, Australia Job Description Senior Delivery Manager - 54461 Permanent Sydney How will I help? The product delivery team in Mortgage Technology is the delivery partner for the line of business.
The team is responsible for delivering the transformation agenda for the business and are in the unique position of using the business and tech skills and knowledge to work hand in hand to deliver business outcomes.
This role is an integral part of the Consumer Technology and you will be delivering end to end projects, including both business and technology components and comprising changes to mortgages processes and systems for non-mortgages stakeholders across the bank.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding high-level requirements to develop project scope and high-level cost estimates.
You will engage with all contributing teams to plan delivery based on resource capacity or consider options to increase availability.
Your duties will include overseeing project delivery and closure, ensuring end-to-end delivery, and adhering to both technical and business project risk management standards, as well as Westpac's delivery standards.
Additionally, you will maintain real-time delivery progress in JIRA and Confluence for our Village Train scrum and provide monthly Clarity reporting for PMO governance.

What do I need? To be successful in this position you will have strong end to end business and technology project management experience and be confident in agile and waterfall delivery.
As well as this you will be well versed in stakeholder engagement and be able to liaise with 3rd party vendors and manage expectations.
It will be highly desirable if you have experience in Mortgages, but banking/ financial services experience is essential.
A demonstrated commercial acumen will set you up to succeed in this position and you will be able to collaborate well with the wider business and team.
