Unlocking the Supply of Durable Carbon RemovalsGentoo.earth is a sales enablement platform for carbon removal.
We exist to accelerate the transition to a trusted & transparent carbon market that can be relied on to achieve net zero.Currently, there is no easy way for durable carbon removal (CDR) suppliers to prospect & engage companies with ambitious net zero targets.
CDR suppliers need to engage buyers in multi-year offtake agreements in order to secure financing to scale their project operations.
Gentoo.earth accelerates this process by helping suppliers qualify & engage corporate partners.
Our mission is to unlock the supply of durable carbon removals.The RoleGentoo.earth is searching for a Full Stack / Founding Engineer to lead product development & migration from our existing tech stack.Full stack - play an integral part in determining the tech we use and the engineering culture we build.
You will work closely with our founder & personally own, plan and implement entire projects.A keen interest in data science - data is at the core of what we do.
You will play a pivotal role in automating data collection via APIs & leading data analysis.Builder first - build and iterate on the fly, with a focus on quickly shipping.Flexible & a keen learner - at first, you will roll up your sleeves & get creative within our existing no-code tech stack before initiating our migration as we grow the team.Future team lead - you'll play a key role in creating & building our growing engineering team over the next 12-18 months.Customer & business exposure - collaborate across many decisions and have a key impact on Gentoo's development.Remote / Hybrid (US / AU) - we are currently expanding our operations in the US & have a preference for candidates open to hybrid work in either SF / NYC (USA) or Sydney (Australia).
