Our fleet is not just about service; it's about smart, data-driven, automated care for our customers' machinery.
This Role requires you to travel to customers' farm locations within your Area of Responsibility (AOR), performing services on a wide range of John Deere machinery.About You:Whilst a trade qualified mechanic is the ideal candidate, we welcome those with a strong mechanical aptitude to apply.Certified 'Great Place to Work' 24/25Industry Competitive Remuneration plus location allowanceParticipation in the monthly-paid Performance Bonus SchemeWeekly-paid tool allowanceStaff discounts on John Deere parts, products, toys, and merchandiseReceive staff gifts for Christmas & at our annual All Employee MeetingMake-up pay on top of government-funded paid parental leave for eligible employees, offering additional support during this important life eventA commitment to a healthy work-life balanceAnnual uniform and PPE allowanceReceive support to achieve your personal goals through our St George Bank Corporate Partnership ProgramAccess to Toyota Fleet Vehicle discountsEnjoy exclusive discounts and cashback offers through our 'Swag Store' AppProgress with ease via John Deere University PathwaysCoaching, counselling and well-being support services through our EAP Provider; AssureResponsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Perform servicing and associated inspections on agricultural equipment.Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments and in-field service, repair or maintenance work.Perform quality work in a neat and orderly fashion.Participate in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.Maintain high level condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.Account for all time in Enable and for all material used in performing assigned duties.Additional preferred skills and experience:Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.Proficient oral and written communication skills.A Valid MR license (We can assist with this) About Hutcheon and PearceHutcheon & Pearce, the largest Australian family-owned John Deere dealership, with a rich history, spanning over 70 years across NSW.
