PFS Building Service is a leading provider of Fire Safety Design & Installation Services, specializing in Construction and Complying Development Fire Service Design. About The Role: We are seeking a skilled multi-disciplinary Fire Services Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing a variety of fire safety systems, including Fire Sprinklers, Fire Hydrants, Smoke Detection and Alarm Systems, Fire Hose Reels, and more. You will play a crucial role in the design process, from initial consultation through to project handover.
Key Responsibilities: Design Fire Protection Systems, including Fire Sprinklers, Fire Hydrants, Smoke Detection and Alarm Systems, and Fire Extinguishers.Work directly with Clients, Builders, Architects, and Principal Certifying Authorities (PCAs) to ensure all requirements are met.Attend site visits, liaising with stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide expert advice & guidance.Lead and oversee the Fire Services Design process from initial concept through to final handover.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and relevant standards.Collaborate with a close-knit team of professionals to deliver projects on time and within scope.Key Requirements: Proven experience in designing Fire Safety Systems (Sprinklers, Hydrants, Smoke Detection and Alarm Systems, Fire Hose Reels, etc.).Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to confidently attend site visits and interact with builders, architects, and other key stakeholders.Strong communication and project management skills.Ability to handle complex designs and problem-solve in real-time.Desirable: Accreditation with the Fire Protection Association of Australia (FPAA Australia), and Fire Safety Designer (FSD) qualifications.Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards & Building Code of Australia.Why Join Us: Be part of a close-knit, collaborative team.Take ownership of design projects from inception to completion.Opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects.Competitive salary and benefits package.How to Apply:
