Main duties of your role will include:Lead and oversee the concierge team to deliver outstanding and personalised guest services, ensuring all guests receive a warm and courteous welcome.Manage the day-to-day operations of the concierge desk, ensuring all tasks and guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of local attractions, events, and services, acting as a cultural connoisseur for Mondrian guests.Drive and supervise the usage of the Mondrian Hotel Car as needed, ensuring guests receive seamless and luxurious transportation service.
Ensure that the hotel car amenities are well maintained.Supervise, train, and motivate the concierge team to achieve high levels of service excellence and efficiency.Provide a customised check in for VIP clientele by welcoming them at the point of arrival and escorting them to their room as well as farewelling them upon departure to personally verify guest satisfaction.Establish and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, attractions, and service providers to offer exclusive experiences and services to Mondrian guests.QualificationsProven experience as a Chief Concierge or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort.Exceptional knowledge of the Gold Coast region, including local attractions, restaurants, events, and cultural landmarks.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with guests and anticipate their needs.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in Opera CloudPMS is highly advantageous.Full Australian working rights are essential.Additional InformationMondrian Gold Coast is an equal opportunity employer.
