Programming Officer – Queensland Museum

An exciting opportunity exists to join a creative team at Queensland Museum Tropics, Townsville.
We are seeking a permanent Programming Officer with a passion for engaging with diverse audiences to develop, deliver and evaluate public programs and events that connect people with the unique collections, research, and exhibitions of Queensland Museum Tropics.
Working closely with the Programming and Engagement team as well as colleagues in Collections and Research, and the First Nations program, you will deliver quality audience experiences.
In partnership with community, cultural and commercial stakeholders, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations, resources and budget to maximise public engagement.
Queensland Museum Tropics is the northern-most site of Queensland Museum and we celebrate the cultures, customs, and environment unique to Queensland's northern tropics.
