Our client is seeking a Manager for Media and Content to play a pivotal role in shaping their storytelling and narrative across various platforms.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a vibrant and conveniently located campus, leading a dedicated team to develop and execute communication content strategies.
The successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate with academics and experts in their fields, promoting world-leading research and partnerships.
What you'll do: As the Manager of Media & Content, you will be instrumental in shaping the organisation's storytelling and narrative for various audiences.
You will lead a small team, working closely with the Senior Manager of Media & Content to develop and execute communication content strategies.
Your role will involve building relationships with experts and specialist media, overseeing content distribution strategies, providing expert advice on media and content development, and identifying opportunities to promote our world-leading research.
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy to enhance reputation and align with strategic priorities.Manage a team to deliver high-quality content and respond to media enquiries.Build relationships with experts and specialist media to create relevant, strategically aligned content.Oversee content distribution strategies to maximise reach, monitor performance, and adjust tactics for optimal engagement.Provide expert advice on media and content development, collaborate across units, and ensure alignment with communication goals.Identify opportunities to promote world-leading research and partnerships.What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Manager of Media & Content role will bring extensive experience in communication, media or content roles.
You should have a demonstrated track record of creating and implementing strategic content plans.
Your excellent editorial judgement and creative flair will enable you to craft innovative content across multiple platforms.
We value a strategic thinker who can quickly grasp complex topics and solve problems effectively under tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and advisory skills are essential as the role requires collaborative work.
