Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician (Full-time or Part-time)
Salary: Starting at $150 per hour
Location: Tustin
Openings: Full-time or Part-time
Under the direction of the Medical Director, the ideal physician will provide primary medical care for adults at Families Together's various sites as assigned, which include Tustin, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, or Westminster.
FTOC provides an array of services across numerous specialties, including primary medical care, behavioral health, dental, vision, radiology, and numerous other specialties while focusing on enabling services to low income individuals, as well as persons living with or at risk for HIV infection.
Thus, FQHC experience in Primary Care and Infectious Disease experience is highly preferred.
Additional information about FTOC can be found at www.familiestogetheroc.org Core Duties and Responsibilities:Provides medical services at any of FTOC's practice sites as assigned, including our Fountain Valley location that provides care to persons living with HIV and HIV preventive care to those at risk for HIV.Works in collaboration with the clinical leadership team to develop, establish, optimize and implement clinical protocols and procedures and quality assurance/improvement plans.Delivers primary care medical services, including, but not limited to, histories and physical exams, chronic and acute disease management, preventive health, and communicable diseases screenings.Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.Records physical findings, and formulates prognoses, based on patient's condition.Establishes treatment plans, administers, furnishes, or recommends medications.Adheres to all FTOC's policies and protocols, including clinical guidelines for common conditions; and follows protocols for proper documentation in accordance with the Chief Medical Office, Medical Director, and quality/compliance department.Timely completion of charting, lab reviews, and medication refills.Assures the integrity of electronic medical records in accordance with state and federal laws governing the creation, retention, and destruction of medical records related to client care.*This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee.
