Your Next RoleReporting to the People and Culture Specialist, this newly created position as a People & Culture Advisor will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture at our site.
You will engage closely with site leaders to support high-performance teams, oversee recruitment processes, and implement key people initiatives that promote engagement and safety.
All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.A 'be of service' attitude and operating manner is shown in everything that you are involved in to support quality working relationships and deliverables.Promote a culture where leaders engage teams effectively, empowering employees to drive change, build trust, and improve engagement and productivity.Leaders feel supported through appropriate and timely guidance on people topics with meaningful solutions implemented through an intimate understanding of your business area's strategy, emerging people and industry trends and challenges.Maximise the employee lifecycle by improving people systems, processes, and frameworks, ensuring new starters are effectively onboarded.Embed leadership frameworks that drive leadership development and a positive cultural shift.Maintain strong communication rhythms, ensuring teams receive valuable feedback and consistent follow-through.Oversee seamless recruitment processes, attracting the right talent for the right roles at the right locations.Support leaders with coaching, mentoring, and guidance on performance issues, industrial relations, and change management to drive business efficiency and high performance.Tuan/MaryboroughYou will work across our Tuan mill (located in the Tuan Forest) and Glulam plant (located in West Maryborough), both located in the beautiful Fraser Coast region.

About you 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field.Proven ability to manage HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.A desire to passionately help others and partner with leaders in the business.Natural relationship building skills to develop effective working relationships.Proven ability in handling multiple priorities in a highly confidential manner.Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and schedule in an efficient, productive manner.Experience working within an environment where identifying new approaches, methods, or technologies was required or having introduced better, faster, or less expensive ways to do things.Why Hyne Timber?As a Hyne Timber team member you will enjoy benefits such as:
