Our team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Capital Accountant for a Fixed Term Contract of 12 Months.
What you'll do: Provide financial reporting and analysis for the Perth Airport Capital program.Report to the Manager Business Planning & Analysis, providing monthly capital reporting and regular reporting to external stakeholders.Facilitate the annual budgeting and monthly forecast processes.Assist in the review of all requests for funding as part of the capital approval process.Maintain accurate asset and capital transactions, understanding appropriate tax and accounting options, and provide information for statutory and regulatory accounts.About you: You'll be CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified (or working towards certification) with at least 2 years' experience in a Financial Reporting role.
This role requires excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
You will have a high attention to detail along with highly developed time management skills.
A good understanding of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerBi, and experience using financial accounting systems for reporting will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the Finance field, with prior Capital Accounting experience, requiring a high level of communication with all levels of employees both internally and externally to the business.
