The opportunity Join CSIRO - Australia's National Science & Innovation AgencyShape Solutions, enhance SAP systems & support high-impact business reportingFlexible work environment, with 15.4% super We are seeking a skilled SAP SRM Finance System Support Officer to manage system solutions, governance, and process improvements.
The role focuses on ensuring solution availability, access controls, configuration, interfaces, master data, and dashboard reporting.

This position involves working closely with Strategic Procurement, Procure to Pay (P2P), and Information Management & Technology (IM&T) teams, supporting critical reports like Senate Orders, Payment Times, and Indigenous Supplier Nation.
You will have strong knowledge of procurement and payment processes, with experience in SAP SRM, MM, and FICO modules being highly desirable.

To succeed in this role you'll need excellent communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with business system owners and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and driving system enhancements to achieve business objectives.

Your duties will include: Support day-to-day operation by answering user helpdesk system enquiry.Coordinate with other service desks to maintain the issue register and provide up to date reporting.Assist the user access and system controls to comply with policy and procedure.Monitor the exception reports and handle error logs.Investigate and raise system issues with relevant parties.Analyse new releases and inform business area.Assist with the vendor maintenance and payment issues.Carry out analysis for field and file mappings for data load or interface.Document business processes and write up business requirements.Perform analysis and advise of solution options together with recommendations.Develop test plan and perform the user acceptance testing including trouble shooting and improvements. Location: Open to be based in any Australian city with a CSIRO site.
Salary: AU$96,811 - AU$109,527 plus15.4% superannuation

To be considered you will need: Relevant trade certificate/diploma/bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in finance or information technology as business and system analyst in the public sector.Exposure to SAP SRM, MM & FICO modules system as a userExcellent user support including SAP master data, transactional data and interface.Good customer service, personal dedication, great communication, project coordination and problem-solving skills.Desirable:
Ability to use Atlassian product such as: JIRA and Confluence.Understanding of government Procurement and Payment policy and procedure. For full details about this role please review the Position Description
