Security (Information & Communication Technology) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Security Consultant (IAM) to join a dynamic team in Sydney.
This role offers an attractive salary package of $150,000K - $170,000K + Super + Bonus.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides advice, governance, and investment across cyber-security domains, including Identity and Access Management (IAM).
You will play a significant part in shaping the future of a business with a rich 200-year history.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Security Consultant (IAM), you will be instrumental in building our client's IAM strategy in conjunction with other cyber-security domains.
Your role will involve synthesising complex data related to emerging threats and vendor capabilities, contributing to the overall Cybersecurity strategy, and providing valuable insights to various parts of the organisation.
You will have the opportunity to work on large transformation projects and play a key role in improving Cyber-Security outcomes.
This role requires adaptability, as the Cyber-security landscape is rapidly evolving and priorities may change at short notice.
Synthesise data related to emerging threats, vendor capabilities, regulator expectations and current IAM state for various audiences.Contribute to the overall Cybersecurity strategy with a particular focus on IAM.Provide assistance and advice to the broader organisation as required.Maintain an interest in improving Cyber-Security outcomes with both a long-term strategic lens and immediate attention to current state.Adapt to rapidly evolving Cyber-security landscape and changing priorities.What you bring:
To succeed as a Senior Security Consultant (IAM), you will bring excellent verbal communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience.
You are self-driven with over five years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
Your understanding of the financial services industry or other large enterprises will be highly valuable.
You have exposure to regulatory and industry standards such as SOX, CPS234, NIST etc., and experience in large transformation projects.
Your skills in data analytics, framework development, risk management or OCM/communications will be put to good use.
Formal education or certification in information security, information technology, risk management, audit or equivalent discipline is required.
Industry certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, SABSA) are desirable.
Able to work closely with the CTO & IAM Strategy Lead to contribute to the overall IAM strategy in conjunction with other Cyber domains.Prepared to work within an undefined environment to consult & extract information/data from stakeholders to build into a roadmap.Five or more years of experience in Information Security or Information technology (IAM or other cyber security domain preferable).Understanding of financial services industry or other large enterprises.Exposure to regulatory and industry standards such as CPS234, NIST etc.Experience in data analytics, framework development, risk management or OCM/communications.Formal education or certification in information security, information technology, risk management, audit or equivalent discipline.Industry certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, SABSA) desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
