What You'll Do:? Deliver a leading data platform offering by Building, implementing and testing data processing pipelines preferably using Python and dbt in AWS.
Optimising data models and transformations for performance and efficiency.
Ensuring data quality by implementing appropriate testing mechanisms.
Collaborating with stakeholders including internal and external teams to understand and meet their data requirement needs.
Maintaining documentation for data models, pipelines, and processes.
About You:? Experience as a Data Platform Engineer or Developer preferably within financial services and/or superannuation fund industries.
Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, ETL workflows, and scripting.
Expertise in using dbt for data transformation, modelling, and documentation.
Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
Knowledge/experience of AWS and Azure cloud services, in particular: RedShift, Glue, DynamoDB, S3, (optional ADF, Fabric).
Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and best practices.
Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and architectures.
Excellent communication skills, presence and gravitas?? Tertiary qualifications in a Technology, Data science, Computer science, Engineering or related discipline?? Certifications in AWS or Azure | Cloud, Big Data, Analytics, Data Science, Databases Benefits that matter and make a difference for our employees?
