About the Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has multiple exciting opportunities for full-time and part-time Laboratory Assistants to join either the Histopathology Specimen Reception Area or the main laboratory of the Histopathology Department at Bowen Hills, for morning, day and evening shifts.
SRA duties may include: Specimen receptionData input into Histology accessioning systemGeneral assistance to dissection staffExcellent computer skills are required.
Main laboratory duties may include: EmbeddingMicrotomyLoading tissue onto tissue processorsGeneral laboratory duties including assistance to allocation bench and changing stainers.The successful applicants must possess an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work, together with the ability to work as part of a team.
Prior experience in specimen reception duties or Histopathology will be highly regarded.
