North West Sydney Dermatology and Laser is a specialist skin cancer centre that uses cutting-edge innovations in diagnosis and management of skin cancer.
We work in collaboration with clinical and biomedical research groups at the University of Malmö and the University of Linköping in Sweden.

A part-time opportunity (1 day per week) has become available for a clinician/researcher with hands-on experience in skin cancer to join our team.
You will be trained to use a VivoSight optical coherence tomography device (OCT) and see how it provides a valuable service to patients in the day-to-day management of skin cancers.

There will also be research and publication opportunities.

Remuneration will be available to an applicant who has exceptional skills and experience working independently as a skin cancer physician.
This will be a percentage of fees.

Our practice is largely skin cancer focused but our rooms can also accommodate dermatologists who are keen to upskill in the new innovations on top of running a general dermatology practice.
We have exceptional ADNA-registered nurses who are highly skilled surgically & in laser & light treatments.
We have Cutera Excel V vascular laser, Sciton Joule with Erbium & BBL, and an additional standalone BBL.
We also have a Waldmann 7002 UVB cabinet.

Our practice developed a protocol utilizing intense pulsed light (BBL) in photodynamic treatment of skin cancer.
This has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology (JEADV).
