Rates: $80 - $120 per hour (inc. super)
Services Australia is seeking a Systems Analyst Professional to design, create, evaluate and document ICT solutions in new and existing ICT systems. They may propose modifications to the existing systems and processes, or design new systems to meet user needs as expressed in requirements documentations or user stories. Senior Systems Analysts are responsible for translating business needs into ICT system requirements and specifications for enhancements. It includes designing, analysing and documenting software systems to meet business expectations. They are responsible for writing functional specifications from the business requirements.
Key duties may include, but are not limited to:
perform detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirementscreate solution designs and implement solutions to meet business needscreate and maintain solution documentssupport daily operations and monitor performance of business solutionsadhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvementperform detailed technical application assessments considering feasibility, resource effort, risks and benefitsconduct testing activities such as test planning, execution coverage reviews and defect managementcollaborate with stakeholders to define tasks, resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projectsundertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design and testing documentsreview research, process models and documentation of other staff, providing guidance and feedbackresolve or escalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutionsperform cost analysis activities as requiredmanage the life cycle of changes and improvements to systemsmanage a team to increase performance and engagement through:
o coaching
o capability development
o performance management
o health and well-being supportset priorities, manage resources, and assist with the development of work plansexercise delegations in line with legislation and guidelines as required Primary Knowledge/Skills/Systems/Tools required for role include:
Experience with SAP Essential Criteria Demonstrated experience of a minimum of two (2) years working as a SAP Technical Analyst in large scale SAP Australian Public Sector environment or similar.
