About the role We are currently looking for experienced support workers who are committed and compassionate to provide respite services in our newly established SIL accommodations in Scoresby

Our purpose is to help participants recover, rejuvenate, and recalibrate in every way through a transdisciplinary approach.

Minimum 2+ years' experience within the disability, community services or similar in assisting clients with high care physical requirements.Experience working with autism clients having intellectual disabilities including sensitivity to noise and light; non-verbal, leading to frustration due to difficulty communicating.Solid understanding of restrictive practices for participants with extreme challenging behaviors.Demonstrated ability to support and manage challenging behaviors (highly regarded).Willingness to support clients with personal care including showering, manual handling, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores, and mealtime assistance.Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar.Must be available for a minimum of 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to work across various shifts, including overnight and active nights.Mandatory Requirements: Valid Victorian Driver's LicenseNDIS Worker Screening CheckValid First Aid Certificate and CPRVictorian Working with Children's CheckNational Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months)If the answer to all the above is 'yes', then apply for this opportunity.
