Mills Recruitment is seeking Senior Structural Engineers for a major brownfields Iron Ore project. Join a leading project management and engineering company delivering innovative solutions in the resources and infrastructure sectors.
About the role:Design and analysis of structural systems for brownfields Iron Ore and Materials Handling projectsOversee and ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specificationsLead and participate in project planning, including timelines, resources, and deliverablesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure structural integrity and design feasibilityProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting teamsConduct site visits to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project alignment with engineering designsLiaise with clients, stakeholders, and project management to deliver projects on time and within budgetReview and approve detailed design drawings, calculations, and reportsRequirements for the Role:Minimum 7 years' experience in the mining sectorExpertise in Materials Handling and Brownfields Iron Ore projectsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to conduct occasional site visits as requiredContract Duration: 12+ months
