External Sales Representative

Position SummaryExternal Sales Representative charged with selling all EMD (Electric Motor Division) products to their allocated customer base or industry segment.ResponsibilitiesSales responsibility for all EMD products in a defined market segment.Managing the interactions with customers to ensure a mutually beneficial long term commercial relationship.Providing information and support to the National Product Sales teams in achieving their goals.To service and support all company's clients both existing and new accounts.Prospect for potential new clients to increase growth potential for the branch.Cold Calling to improve business opportunities and turn these into customers.To maintain up to date customer records with the CRM system with specific information relating to the clients' business.Provide regular call plans for the preceding week.Provide regular call reports indicating purpose of the call and the result achieved from the call.Provide ongoing market feedback of any future potential projects, current projects and in particular competitor activities.Country trips to the West Australian region will be required from time to time.Site visits with regard to customer requests will be required on occasions.Any function the Regional Manager requires to be undertaken in the normal course of the duties required to fulfil this position.AuthoritiesAs per the company's Delegations of Authority, this position reports directly to the Regional Manager for Brisbane.EducationTechnical Qualification relevant to the electrical industry or a similar field.Experience4 to 5 years in the electrical industry preferably in the electric motor market.Territory management of an industrial client base.CompetenceBasic or advanced selling skills.Account management skills.Ability to plan own activities.High level communication and interpersonal skills.Basic or advanced PC skills including word processing competence.High Level of Integrity and commitment to the client.Possess Presentation and Public Speaking skills.How to Apply: Click "Apply Now" or send your resume directly to ****** to be considered for this exciting opportunity Only suitable candidates will be contacted.
