The work area The Strategic Performance and Evaluation Business Unit is a highly collaborative team working closely with public sector agencies in the health, law and social services sectors to achieve value for money outcomes through financial and social policy advice and provides solutions-focused advice to Treasury Executive and Government.
This includes financial analysis to support investment decisions, policy advice on key strategic issues, and analysis and evaluation of risks and identification of mitigation strategies to support effective and value-for-money outcomes for the State.
The Business Unit also provides a central advisory role on issues impacting Aboriginal people and communities.
The opportunity We are looking for an executive with a demonstrated track record of people-focused leadership who aligns with Treasury's values of Solutions Focused, Committed People, Working Collaboratively, and Making a Difference.
In this role, you will:
Set clear direction and strategy to work through complex problems and conflicting interests to achieve outcomes;Commit to successfully building and maintaining relationships of trust with a broad range of stakeholders and groups, and work in partnership to facilitate improved outcomes;Be people-focused and highly experienced in motivating, empowering and building capability in high-performing teams;Provide high-level advice and analysis to Government on funding submissions and social and financial policy issues;Lead and/or partner with agencies to drive reforms and deliver significant reform initiatives;Be committed to putting our stakeholders, our people and the Western Australian community at the heart of everything we do.Interviews are likely to be held in the week commencing 25 November 2024.
