Reporting to the State Business Manager, the key scope of this supervisory role is to ensure the Hospitality Store operates with a high standard of customer service and operating efficiencies required to achieve Store sales targets and growth.
This role is located in City West.
The key accountabilities of the role include:Efficient and professional supervision of the teamProviding customers with a high standard of service and sales supportDevelop strong relationships with account customer base and build general retail tradeSupervision and training of retail teamMerchandising and presentation of products to promote salesManaging and resolving customer queries and complaintsSuccessful in meeting Sales budget and identifying ways to improve sales and reduce costsResponsible for cash handling, end of shift till reconciliation and securityStock management – bar coding, picking and packing stock, deliveriesProvide the Sales team with customer and product supportAssist the Sales team with product training and coordinating store events and demonstrations involving customers, suppliers, and the sales teamExperience with store rostering, leave requirements, and employee supervisionEnsure the efficient preparation and coordination of the Store stock takes and cycle countsAdhere to relevant Government legislation, company policies & proceduresMust have a passion for retail and experience in a similar roleKnown for your excellence in customer service and sales supportDemonstrated success in achieving retail Store sales targetsCapable of using initiative and customer focus to resolve customer queriesA sound working knowledge of Retail requirements for health and safetyGood numerical aptitudeMust also be a highly self-motivated individual with an excellent work ethicStrong organizational and supervisory skillsAbility to prioritize, problem solve, and to meet deadlinesAble to identify new client relationship opportunitiesMerchandising and sales skills and knowledgeMust be competent with Eftpos, cash handling, credits, and other retail business processesKnowledge of one or more of our Product categories (Tabletop, Catering, Disposables, Janitorial, Equipment, and Chemicals) would be a definite advantageExperience gained within the hospitality or catering industryPrior use of Pronto POS software or a similar POS programQualifications in retail / merchandising / sales or other relevant disciplineWorking with the Reward Hospitality team provides excellent opportunities for you to develop your skills and progress your career.
The remuneration package on offer for this position includes a Base Salary, superannuation, eligibility to participate in a quarterly sales incentive plan, and staff discount offers on products.
