Our stores are a hub that connect our customers to events, influencers, and trends, allowing them to live life on their terms.The roleThe Management Accountant is a key member of the finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance to provide financial information, tools, analysis, and insight to executives. You will be able to challenge thinking and support them to make more informed decisions and drive the overall business strategy.You will be breaking down the barrier between accountancy and management to support business objectives.What you'll be doingPrepare and present business-wide financial reports and commercial analysis, simplifying complex financial data for stakeholders to support decision-making.Develop financial models, conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis, and interpret financial data to evaluate strategic options and investment decisions.Provide regular performance reports and presentations, ensuring consistent tracking of objectives and targets.Deliver high-level commercial analysis for medium- and long-term opportunities.Assist in developing business cases for new opportunities, offering financial input and presenting to stakeholders.Collaborate with the Finance Manager and department heads on annual and quarterly budgets/forecasts.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior management to drive commercial improvements.What you'll needCommercial experience in consulting, large business, or the retail industry.Strong financial and commercial acumen.Proven expertise in financial analysis and business case development.Experience preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management.Skilled in reporting and business intelligence tools, with expert proficiency in Microsoft programs.Strong understanding of reporting frameworks and ability to implement requirements for senior management and stakeholders.Experience managing complex responsibilities and competing priorities.The benefitsCity Beach foster a fun, energetic and supportive working environment as well as some great perks including:A competitive and negotiable salary based on experience.40% team member discount for you, your friends and family to access.We have partnered with industry leaders to bring our team members discounts on products and memberships to keep you healthy on all fronts, including:Access to a free Employee Assistance Program.15% discount on Goodlife Health Clubs and Fitness First Gyms memberships.Discounts on Studio Pilates Class Passes and City Cave Float & Wellness Centre.Complimentary consultations with Westpac.7% discount on Medibank private health insurance.Up to 15% off at Strike Bowling & Holey Moley.Prezzee Gift Cards for major milestones and yearly anniversary certificates.Friday 4pm finishes and social drinks every week.Weekly shared lunches celebrations for birthdays, anniversaries and farewells.
