Supply Officer - Internal Applicants OnlyPermanent Part Time – Up to 64 hours per fortnightClassification: HS1Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Supply Officer to join our team.
You will be responsible for the seamless management of supply and facilitating the delivery of crucial supplies and equipment to meet operational needs.
Key responsibilities include:Managing inventory stock levels and placing orders with vendors to maintain adequate suppliesCoordinating logistics of incoming supply shipments and ensuring timely deliveryInspecting supplies and equipment received to ensure quality standards and specifications are metMaintaining detailed records of inventory flow, reconciling discrepancies, and optimizing stock turnoverThe ideal candidate will:Embrace and promote the values of MDHS – Genuine, Respect, Excellence, Accountability & TogethernessWell-developed organisational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, set priorities and deliver on agreed outcomes within specific timeframesA background in logistics, inventory management, or procurement with strong attention to detail would be an advantage (not essential).Have excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interface with various internal and external stakeholders.Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about streamlining processes and dedicated to enabling team success through reliable access to required supplies and equipment.If you meet these qualifications, we encourage you to apply with your resume or to contact us to learn more about this opportunity.For further information about this role, please contact Andrew Dexter on or via email are to include:ResumeCovering Letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria, available in the Position Description on the position advertisement.MDHS is an equal opportunity employer.
