Food Production Cleaner - Afternoon ShiftWe are a family owned and operated cleaning company that specializes in all aspects and areas of cleaning, whether it be Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Child Care or Tourist. We have contracts with businesses ranging from Southern Gold Coast to Northern Brisbane.Our company and teams embrace our richly diverse workforce where acceptance and inclusiveness are part of our character.We offer plenty of off-street parking and a supportive management team that acknowledges high performers and rewards effortAbout the Role:We have an opportunity for a motivated and reliable Food Production Cleaner to join our dedicated afternoon shift team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the production room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, in line with food safety and hygiene standards, in preparation for the next day's production.Please note that this role is focused exclusively on cleaning – there is no production involved.Shift hours are 6:00pm to 12:00am - Monday to Friday and Sunday. Rosters will be on a rotating schedule, with up to 38hrs available.Students and VISA applicants welcome (19+)Responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:High pressure hosing for a majority of the shiftCleaning and disinfecting production room - walls, floors, doorsCleaning and sanitizing equipment inside production - conveyors, belts, tables, trolleysLifting up to 25 kgWorking in cold & wet environment when cleaningSafe handling of cleaning chemicalsFilling in related food safety documents in EnglishReading and following cleaning instructionsThe successful applicant will:Have previous cleaning experience in a food production environmentHave previous experience in handling cleaning chemicalsHave own transportationBe physically fit, as the role involves lifting, bending, and twistingNot have nut allergies, as the role involves working in areas where nuts are used in food productionBe able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesHave the ability to work autonomously as this is a sole worker positionMaintain high hygiene standards, both personally and in relation to food safetyWhat's next?If you're ready to join our team, please update your resume to reflect your experience and apply today.
